PUBLIC EDUCATION is an important activity of CSI. We have speakers and workshops on topics within the expertise of our speakers and on topics related to our mission "providing building blocks for civility". We provide these educational opportunities tailored to the needs of groups requesting them.
SOME of our SPEAKERS and some examples of POTENTIAL TOPICS:
Cheryl Gaines, MS, LCPC (President/CEO...with a practice specializing in Adolescent Interventions & in Workplace Coaching and Crisis/Violence Prevention) Cheryl Gaines has had experience as the Director of a Mental Health Crisis Team, Jail Counselor, and Law Enforcement Officer Trainer.

Julia Bozarth, M.A., MS, LCPC (Creative Leader/Manager: OPTIONS specializing in family therapy, mental illness, and communications) Julia Bozarth has over twenty years of speaking experience. She taught in the Department of Communications at Illinois State University. Examples of topics in which she combines counseling and communication are:

Fees:
- No fees for speakers for 15-30 minute presentations for clubs, schools, community service groups
- Fees for CSI public admission workshops or seminars will be in the announcement (see News in this website)
- Fees for workshops, seminars, speakers arranged by and for a particular organization are $150 per hour or $1000 per day. IN SOME CASES GRANTS OR DONATIONS MAY ALLOW DISCOUNTS.
